Love Actually - Christmas is All Around Us

Love Actually may look like it's a Christmas movie, but it's much much more‎! Granted it centers around the 5 weeks leading up to Christmas, but it's really a movie about love...actually, and we could ALL use more love in our lives, so it's my go to movie when I'm feeling blue all year round. It has a cast to beat all casts. Bill Nighy, Hugh Grant, Colin Firth, Keira Knightley, Emma Thompson, Liam Neeson, Alan Rickman...I could go on and on, the cast is packed to the gills with stars!

It is the only movie where I start to cry (tears of joy!) in the first 3 minutes of it's start. It is a beautiful, and hilarious, look at all types of love; couples in love, the love between a parent and child, siblings, unrequited, unforgiving and often painful love, and the very best kind of love: all consuming, can't stand to be apart, counting the minutes until you see them love.

And it's not just for girls!! I can say with 100% confidence that this movie can make anybody feel good. So, if you like love, are in love, want to be in love, or if you love love, rent Love Actually, you will find that "love is all around". (Alexander, this is especially for you xo)
